My favorite part about photographing families is allowing them to be who they are. I become an observer and let the family dynamic take over. And these pictures are a perfect representation of Alex, Lee, Zoe and Tim. They are fun, silly, well-traveled and smart, and they all speak English and German. This family portrait session was such an honor for me, especially because it was the first photography session I have done of the entire family in the nine years I have known Lee and Alex.
